Dolomite is a combination of magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate and dissolves extremely slowly. It does not kill plants by itself. Are you sure it was dolomite? Dolomite can only be neutralised by acids and you don"t want to use any acids on your garden. There are naturally occurring acids in your soil that will over time break down the dolomite.
I think you have used too much of some other fertiliser.
