"Adenium Desert Rose"

Started by Geoff - 4850 Tuesday, 23 May 2017

Hi we live in North Queensland and have been collectors of adenium desert roses for many years now. They are very popular up here and are creeping into NSW. They don"t like cold weather but are very hardy other wise. If you want more information please visit us at www.adeniumplants.com.au Geoff

I saw Adeniums growing wild in the mountainous areas of southern Saudi Arabia, and they are a commonly kept plant in places such as the UAE. These environments are DRY and HOT. I was surprised to see them grown in Thailand, but I noticed they had excellent drainage. They hate the cold and will rot at the drop of a hat!
