I am ex Christchurch and had a large variety of Alstroemarias growing in my garden as they made wonderful long lasting cut flowers, but since moving to Melbourne last year I have struggled to find a supplier. I"d love to purchase some bulbs but no-one I have contacted has any to sell. Can anyone assist me in finding a seller. Many thanks if you can Wayne

Seem to be called Princess lilies here and you may find them in some of the online garden shops like Garden Express or daylilliesinaustralia or tesselaar.net.au or the diggers club. Hope this helps.

Alstroemerias can be weedy in Melbourne. We had some at a garden where I volunteer but ended up having to work very hard to get rid of them. May not be a problem if you get frosts where you are living.
