"I have a love for daylilies."

I would like to purchase some daylilies, and would like some feedback on which nurseries offer these mail order plants. Obviously I wold like good size plants.. Also, does anyone bother spraying for the dreaded apids that attack these lovely plants. If left untreated i notice the big decline in growth is cutting them back a good option. Any ideas?

You could try to spray white oil for aphids . I do cut mine to the ground in June each year and they regrow pretty well. I don"t know of any nurseries at the moment - I think rust on day lilies is causing problems for nurseries. Deirdre

Annette, Rainbow Ridge Iris and Daylily Nursery may be able to help you with daylilies by mail order. They are in NSW - don"t know what quarantine restrictions there are between the states, however.

Both Garden Express and Tesselar advertised day lilies In their catalogues, but one, they sold bulbs and two, it might be a bit late now to order, sorry. You could still view the catalogues online though
