Clematis in Sydney

Hi all, I love Clematis and have just bought two viticella species plus Henryii. I havent been very successful in the past with Clematis and have chosen these types because they are supposed to be easier to grow. Id love advice from anyone whos had success growing Clematis in Sydney. Im hoping to grow Henryii up a tree and am concerned about too much shade as this plant wouldnt get much direct sun until it was about six feet tall. Also Im thinking of putting the viticellas in pots but am wondering they get too big. Thank you!
