"canna lily"

Started by Lucy - 2844 Monday, 30 November 2015

I have thoroughly enjoyed your wonderful "Editors" entry. I will be needing to do some editing of my own soon and was wondering if anyone would like some Canna lilies. I have Romas, Romas and more Romas! Cannas are terrific out here in central western NSW. They flower for close to 7 months and require little attention. Thanks again for your wonderful insights. I look forward to your next topic. Kind regards, Lucy

Hello Lucy Your Cannas look lovely. I would love some to add to my (as yet) small collection. But I am in Victoria - can you post them? or did you mean that they are to be collected? Julie

Hi Julie, I have a good mix of varieties, including red, hot pink, pink, creamy yellow, apricot, tangerine and other oranges. If you don"t mind covering the cost of postage, I"m happy to send you bulbs via the mail. Cannas transport really easily. Perhaps you could call me on 0428 758284 to discuss. Kind regards, Lucy

Here is another pic of another variety I have here called Wyoming.

The above pic is not such a good representation of this variety. This was taken at the very beginning of the growing season. They clump up very quickly to form a dense hedge and grow to about 7 feet here where I live. Their leaves look spectacular when the light passes through them and are a dramatic statement in the garden. I"ll try to get another image uploaded
