Plant Description

Leucanthemum paludosum

Leucanthemum paludosum

This small, annual daisy looks rather like the perennial ox-eye daisy, Leucanthemum vulgare. It grows to about 15-25 cm tall and has small, crisp white flowers with yellow centres. It grows best in full sun with moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, and looks best if planted in groups. It can grow in containers. It flowers from winter into spring. It may self-seed gently where it is happy. It comes from Southern Europe.
